Torna per la seconda edizione la SpeleoFesta dedicata a bambini, ragazzi e famiglie.

Il centro storico di Vicopisano, si prepara ad accogliere la seconda edizione di CaveLand, l’evento unico nel suo genere dedicato alla scoperta del mondo ipogeo che a distanza di due anni torna per far conoscere le grotte e la speleologia. L’appuntamento è fissato per il 14 e 15 settembre 2024 e promette due giorni di avventure e apprendimento per bambini, ragazzi e famiglie.

Organizzato dall’associazione culturale SpeleoFotoContest, in collaborazione con il Gruppo Speleologico Torrentistico Speolo di Fucecchio FI, il Gruppo Speleologico Archeologico Apuano CAI Massa, ed il circolo arci L’Ortaccio, CaveLand si pone l’obiettivo di avvicinare il pubblico alla speleologia attraverso attività interattive e coinvolgenti. L’evento è patrocinato dal Comune di Vicopisano, dalla Federazione Speleologica Toscana e dalla Società Speleologica Italiana ed è stato organizzato grazie anche al contributo di FST, Comune di Vicopisano, Rotary Club Cascina e Monte Pisano, Soci Unicoop Firenze Sezione Cascina, e Didattica Toscana, oltre ad altre realtà commerciali della zona e non solo.

CaveLand è pensato per essere un vero e proprio open day a tema speleo, dove i partecipanti potranno esplorare e imparare divertendosi.

Ecco alcune delle attività in programma:

• Prove di Abilità e Dimostrazioni con le Corde Speleo: I più avventurosi potranno cimentarsi in attività pratiche, imparando le tecniche utilizzate dagli speleologi più esperti.
• Esplorazione della “Duilionda”: Con casco e luce, grandi e piccini potranno vivere l’emozione di esplorare una grotta ricostruita appositamente per l’evento.
• Mostra Fotografica: Un’esposizione di spettacolari immagini del mondo sotterraneo, per ammirare la bellezza nascosta delle grotte dall’archivio SpeleoFotoContest.
• Tavoli Didattici: Esperti guideranno i visitatori attraverso temi affascinanti come la biologia, la chimica, il ciclo dell’acqua e l’archeologia.

E tanto altro ancora, un Evento per tutta la famiglia.

CaveLand è un’occasione imperdibile per le famiglie che desiderano trascorrere del tempo insieme, imparando e divertendosi. I bambini e i ragazzi avranno l’opportunità di scoprire un mondo affascinante attraverso giochi, esperimenti e prove di abilità, ma anche gli adulti potranno scoprire il misterioso mondo della speleologia e delle scienze ad essa collegate, due giorni dove si potrà avere la possibilità di avvicinarsi ai temi legati alle grotte, cosa sono, come si formano, come e perché vanno tutelate, il tutto attraverso una serie di giochi ed esperimenti. Dalla chimica alla geologia e la morfologia alla fauna ipogea, fino alle tecniche di esplorazione, il tutto opportunamente calibrato per essere facilmente comprensibile anche per i più piccoli.

CaveLand si svolgerà nel cuore del centro storico di Vicopisano Sabato 14 dalle ore 14:00 alle 18:00 e Domenica 15 settembre dalle ore 10:00 alle 18:00. L’ingresso è aperto a tutti e le attività sono pensate per coinvolgere un pubblico di tutte le età. The historic center of Vicopisano is preparing to welcome the second edition of CaveLand, a unique event dedicated to exploring the underground world, which returns after two years to introduce caves and speleology. CaveLand is an unmissable opportunity for families who wish to spend time together, learning and having fun. Children and teenagers will have the chance to discover a fascinating world through games, experiments, and skill tests, but adults can also learn about the mysterious world of speleology and its related sciences. Over two days, participants will have the opportunity to learn about caves, what they are, how they form, and why they should be protected, all through a series of games and experiments. From chemistry to geology and morphology to subterranean fauna, and exploration techniques, all appropriately calibrated to be easily understandable even for the youngest participants.

CaveLand will take place in the heart of the historic center of Vicopisano on Saturday, September 14, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and Sunday, September 15, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
